The performance of gluing machine not only affects the bonding quality of veneers, but also determines the amount of glue used and the production cost of plywood. Therefore, there are the following technical requirements for roller glue coating machine.
1.Improve the uniformity of glue coating on the whole width of veneer. Specific measures are as follows:
(1) Guarantee the manufacturing and installation accuracy of the parts and components of the glue coating machine. Such as guaranteeing that the working surface of rubber-coated roll and extrusion roll runs completely against the axis, the parallelism of upper and lower rubber-coated roll, the parallelism of extrusion roll and rubber-coated roll, etc.
(2) Increase the diameter of the cot properly.
(3) According to different types of rubber, different hardness of rubber coated with rubber rollers is selected, and different shapes and sizes of grooves on the surface of rollers are adopted.
2.In order to adapt to different thickness of veneer, the distance between top and bottom cots should be adjusted, and the thickness of rubber layer should be easily controlled and adjusted. The thickness of rubber layer is mainly determined by the gap between extrusion roll and coating roll. The adjustment accuracy of the gap should be controlled at about 0.01 mm, and the amount of rubber coating should be controlled in the range of 105-430 g/m2.
3.Improve the wear resistance and rust resistance of the parts of the glue coating machine, and set up necessary safety protection devices to improve the life of the glue coating machine and ensure safe operation.
